Well this is the last public holiday until Christmas so I am making sure I enjoy it! So by way of a change I'm doing precious little. I have adjusted a few photos, listened to some music, tried to take a few photos, well at least planned a few photos which is cool...thought a bit of stuff through...played with a new bit of kit that needs a bit of time to get used to but as soon as I have anything decent from it I'll post it.
I thought that it was time to return to the delights of the Minoan Prince Hotel and another example of their wonderful choice of art for the patrons. As I said in a previous post if you were paying attention I did a number of interior shots on this last visit, most of which I'm quite pleased with. As you can see from this link the hotel still has a web site, kind of odd given that it seems to have been closed for about 8 or 9 years. I think I must have lost about 10 pounds in weight whilst in there! I think there are few more shots I might take on another trip, we shall see. Here is an aerial view as well.
The evening sky has blown apart
The fire on the hills has all gone grey
My mother's got a few days left
She thinks it's time we all
Learned to pray
My sister's in the kitchen
My brother's laying out his guns
My father's pacing in the hallway
Looks like they've all figured out a way to run
Suffering's gonna come
It's as old as the world
It's as old as the world
Sufferings gonna come to everyone someday
Sufferings gonna come to everyone someday
My mother's gone to glory
I packed my books to a bag
This family is about to explode
I guess I'll try my luck on my own
I know there's life beyond this ridge
We can test the truths that we all know
And value what we keep
But for now
We should all go to sleep
Suffering's gonna come
It's as old as the world
It's as old as the world
Sufferings gonna come to everyone someday
Sufferings gonna come to everyone someday
