So this is my final in person post before the big off on Saturday! Did I mention I was buggering off for 2 weeks? Sorry yeah I am. Although the few days before going I always feel strangely out of sorts. I like being there but the thought of all the bother of travelling puts me off. Silly I know but there you are! Did a bit of last minute shopping today, still haven't done my advance posts which is now giving me cause for concern. Still it will be done...it always ends up being a last minute thing like most of the things I have to do in my life.
The idea is to post every other day, I have mentioned that right? I'm hoping that might give me the opportunity to update some of the text with anything of interest that may happen whilst there. You know the important stuff like what I've been eating, any hangovers, any ditches I may or may not have driven into!
Today's image is another from last week and my wander around Bath looking for people shots with the Holga. I came across these lads smoking a water pipe in Royal Avenue, Bath. The pipe had come from Jordan and they were out parading it in the unseasonably warm weather. They were well up for a few shots which was cool and most of them are usable. For more water pipe goodness take a look at this over at Clusterflock. For those with an interest in the location of Royal Avenue here is an aerial shot of the area. The location of the shot can be seen marked, immediately above is the Royal Crescent.
Don’t be ashamed
To open your heart and pray
Say what your soul sings to you
So no longer pretend
That you can’t feel it near
That tickle in your head
That tingle in your ear
Oh ask it anything
Because it loves you dear
It’s your most precious king
If only you can hear
