Well I'm well behind with answering emails today. Sorry guys, I'll get there. I've had a very stressful afternoon car shopping! So damn stressful, I've been driving since the mid 70's and have had god knows how many cars but why is it with every purchase I feel like I have been shafted! Whether new, secondhand or old I walk away feeling dirty and feel sure I am being laughed at like a bloody drain....bastards! Still the deed is done and the new addition to the family will arrive on Sunday after I have dragged a hefty bag of cash up there.
Other news, I was lucky enough to have one of my photos featured over at Flakphoto. If you are of a mind drop over there check it out and perhaps submit one of your own.
Today's photo continuing the people theme and Bath theme I guess. Shot yesterday which is one hell of a turnaround for me and located on the affectionately known 'Bog Island' so named because it was the location of some underground toilets, these were later turned into a night club and now as far as I am aware are just derelict and locked up. Now the pick-up and drop off for the open top tourist buses. This young lady was just wandering a round enjoying her cigarette and blissfully unaware of my Hoga getting her from the hip. I was taken by the contrast in the colours. Shot on Fuji NPZ 800 for those who care. As is customary when I acn be bothered, here is an aerial view of the area. The Abbey can be seen to the left and parade gardens to the right.
I stand firm for our soil
lick a rock on foil
Say reduce me, seduce me,
Dress me up in Stssy.
Hell is round the corner where I shelter.
Ism's and schisms, we're living helter skelter
If you believe and deceive common sense says shouldn't receive
Let me take you down the corridors of my life.
And when you walk, do you walk to your preference?
No need to answer till I take further evidence.
I seem to need a reference to get residence.
A reference to your preference to say,
I'm a good neighbour, I trudge,
So judge me for labour,
live version of the song. The bond on me ensures my good behaviour
The constant struggle ensures my insanity.
Passing the ignorance ensures the struggle for my family
We're hungry beware of our appetite.
Distant drums bring the news of a kill tonight.
The kill which I share with my passengers.
We take our fill, take our fill, take our fill.
