So tired. Been out with my mate Dan...always makes me laugh like a drain. So basically it comprised of drink and poking fun at people around us which is always fun...I always work on the assumption that they are taking the piss out of me....doesn't seem so bad then....and in any case no damage if they don't know. We also spoke of some possible photographic work...but being superstitious I won't tell until it happens...so watch this space. I'll shut up there as I am 3 parts pissed and 9 parts asleep.
OK, more from Crete. Don't ask me what this structure is! It is made from hexagonal pieces of concrete that had glass or mirrored glass on the surface. It has been terribly vandalised with most of the glass having been smashed. I am assuming that it was for collecting solar energy or something. A large concrete bowl shaped object aimed at the sun...obviously unsuccessful. An odd place that I think I have found on the map! Close to the village of Lithines (Λιθίνες) here is an aerial view.
