Ah! The weekend is with us....no early rise, a few drinks to grease the wheels, damn sweet! Week two at work and I still have a positive feel about the job. Everyone is nice and friendly, I am enjoying the work as much as anyone is able to enjoy work. Nuff said. I have vegetated in front of the TV tonight which was sweet....I made an Asparagus Risotto for supper which was very nice even though I do say so myself. I make a damn fine Risotto, home made stock made it all the sweeter! I was going to invite you all around but James has pumped an invite out there so I assumed that you would all be busy....anyway he is so much more of a host....such a silver tongue. I could have tried to turn your heads with a tale of saving Derek Jacobi's life, or the day I met Tom Robinson back in the 80's and he invited me to a gig that night or even the day I stopped Dave Edmonds for speeding and gave him a ticket. None of those could have compared with the wit of James...damn him! Perhaps I am related to a famous person....my family say to gypsies...that's no good!
So without further ado I will move on to tonight's post! The second from my pinhole experiment. You'll be pleased to know it isn't a self portrait. A few items that live around the house a 16 minute exposure on the wonderful Polaroid gifted to me by Cameron. Numerous flashes from a flash gun this being the third attempt. I have to say I am loving playing with this thing so If you fancy making one yourself take a look at Cameron's tutorial Making A Polaroid Pinhole Camera.
I guess you still want a map, so here is an aerial shot of where I live and where the photo was taken.
OK guys some of you have been wonderful enough to nominate me over at the Photoblogawards. I would like to thank all of you that have...but if you haven't then the link will provide you with a slightly easier way of doing so. I thank you in advance.
