I have precious little to tell you as I have hardly been out of the door today! However my job interviews are mounting, I now have three shit interviews, there seems to be a pattern emerging. I have applied for a cross section of jobs from the ones I would never want to do to the ones that are just wishful thinking. I am still unable to reveal what interviews I have but needless to say I seem to be getting interviews for the jobs I wished I hadn't applied for...don't ask me why I applied for them...I don't know! Perhaps it was the lack of response I was getting those I was applying for. Anyway I have a few days to perfect my knuckle dragging skills and the ability to hold a meaningful conversation using words of only one syllable! I think I may get a coach in to assist, there must be people that teach that sort of stuff right? I'll fill you in on the date as it approaches....or perhaps after it has passed. The trouble is now I'm worried I may get one...I'd hate to be perfect for one of these.
So the thing that got me out of the house was to go after two 14 year old kids who thought it was great fun to crash through my neighbours hedge and leave it flat on the floor. I'm usually a live and let live kind of a guy especially when it comes to kids but the little swines found it a tad to funny for my liking...it was no big deal as my neighbours house is like a jungle I was just trying to prevent mine being the next one...I kind of like my hedges! They were looking for the alleged ball! I felt mean taking them home so feel free to call me a miserable bastard! I told his mum they he was a good lad and I didn't care how many times he had to come around just not through the hedge...a knock on the door would be cool! They mended the hedge.... I'm having trouble telling you this as the more I type the more mean I feel!...Oh my god I have become my father and all the other middle aged bastards who plagued my life as a kid. I'll stop here as I need to take myself outside for a good thrashing before bed!
Today's photo is from the trip to Crete in March and another from the mountain village of Χριστός (Christos). After a long drive Christos is the last village on the road...you then need to turn back. A sleepy place at the end of the road so thankfully for me not many people go there...or at least stop there. I'm sure that they would prefer a little more action. here is an aerial shot with the church being the red building at the bottom of the photo. I need to go back and explore this place a little more on the next trip, I'm sure that there were churches that I missed.
BBC correspondent Alan Johnston was abducted in Gaza on 12th March 2007. Video was released of him today by his captors but still more pressure is needed on the various governments to act. Why not sign the Petition in the hope that it will assist with his early release.
