Crete seems to have more than it's fair share of abandoned houses, the problem is that they are usually locked up for 30 years so I am always overjoyed when I come across one I am able to get into. This one wasn't in the best of condition but it did have a wonderful feel. I may sound like a bit of an anorak here but I love old painted beer and soda bottles so other than the photography of course I am always on the look out for these bottle from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I have managed to collect a few over the years....perhaps I will photograph them when I am out there next. It might make a sweet photo.
