Taken in the Cretan village of Anogia (Ανώγεια) at the end of a road to nowhere that has slowly become more accessible, but, there still ain't much there. This w as the tiniest of houses, I hesitate to call it a house as it was one room with cooking facilities and not a lot more. Perhaps the occupant was sleeping elsewhere. Anyway, delightful in its own way.
Here is an aerial view of Anogia (Ανώγεια) and the surrounding area.
Teeth what were sharp
Is ground down and dumb
My crooked spine becoming more brittle
What once grew straight
And tall t’ward the sun
Is absorbing back down
To dirt like a sponge
